AIRBRUSH FAQ

airbrush makeup

*What is the difference between airbrush and traditional applications?

Applied with an airbrush gun for a precise application, Airbrush makeup leaves a light, seamless veil of color over the skin, creating the illusion of a perfect face because it is misted on. This allows your true skin tone to show through without masking your face. The ability to mix Airbrush foundation colors for an individual custom blend is unsurpassed, resulting in a more natural look that effortlessly covers skin imperfections.

Also, with the evolution of high definition (HD) TV and photography, traditional makeup can look even across the face to the naked eye, but when viewed through HD TV and digital photography, the foundation can look uneven, streaked, or splotchy if not done correctly.

*What are the benefits of using airbrush makeup?

With airbrush makeup, the liquid foundation goes on in fine microdots that mimic color pixels used by technology. The tiny dots lay on the surface of the face so smoothly that the finish is most commonly described by everyone who sees it as "flawless" or "porcelain smooth." The foundation offers long-lasting, buildable coverage and is highly pigmented.

*How does it feel?

Airbrush makeup is extremely lightweight. Most clients say they feel as if they aren’t wearing any makeup at all.

*Will airbrush makeup look natural in pictures and videos?

Airbrush makeup has been used for over a decade in the movie and entertainment industries because of its versatility to create the right look on and off camera. Airbrush makeup appears natural-looking in person, on screen, and in print because it eliminates shine and provides the right amount of coverage without all the traditional makeup layers. Photographers can digitally airbrush photos to conceal imperfections, while Airbrush makeup can give you that same flawless complexion with one application

*Is airbrush makeup for everyone?

Airbrush makeup is suitable for clients of all ages and every skin condition. The Airbrush foundation I use is water-based, fragrance-free, paraben-free, silicone-free, and oil-free, so it’s safe for even the most sensitive skin, no matter what age or skin condition.
